Who We Are
Now DOSnet
DOSnet — Decentralised Operating Services Network — is built for people who go further than the signal does.
We're a small team of builders, tinkerers, and off-grid enthusiasts who got tired of relying on towers, subscriptions, and systems designed for cities. So we built something different.
What We Do
We design, assemble, and support Meshtastic LoRa mesh communication devices — pre-configured, weatherproof, and ready to work the moment you take them out of the box.
No SIM card. No monthly fee. No coverage required. Just a private, encrypted mesh network you own and control — built for the Australian bush, the remote station, the long trail, and the moments when everything else fails.
Built for Australia
Every DOSnet device ships pre-configured for AU915 — the legal, licence-free 915MHz frequency band used in Australia. We don't just sell hardware from overseas and hope it works. We configure, test, and support every unit ourselves.
We're based in Australia. Our support is in Australian time. Our documentation is written for Australian conditions.
Who We Build For
- Remote property owners tired of being cut off
- Farmers who need paddock-to-shed communication without Telstra
- Hikers, trail runners, and 4WD tourers going beyond the map
- SES and SAR volunteers who need deployable comms when infrastructure fails
- Anyone who refuses to be dependent on a network they don't control
Our Philosophy
We believe communication is a right, not a subscription.
The technology behind DOSnet — Meshtastic and LoRa — is open source. We didn't invent it. We made it accessible. We stripped out the friction: no command line, no antenna guesswork, no frequency configuration. Just plug in, pair with the app, and talk.
Not a Corporation
DOSnet is not a faceless tech company. We're people who use this gear ourselves — on our own properties, on our own trails, in our own vehicles. When you contact us, you're talking to someone who has actually set up a mesh network in the Australian bush.
We grow slowly and intentionally. We'd rather do this right than do it fast.
This Is Just the Beginning
More products are coming. More range. More capability. More ways to stay connected when the world goes quiet.
If you're here, you already get it.
No towers. No plans. No bullshit.
